Save money on gas using hydrogen gas from water in your engine. The system is so easy that most people can do it at home with the help of an easy illustrated manual. Motorists have had great results with this system with some registering as much as 70% more Miles Per Gallon MPG.

The top water and gas hybrid car system enables you to use less gas per mile as it burns more of the hydrogen and oxygen gases in the engine. With so much money being spent on gas fees, the best thing that anyone can show you is how to spend less money on gas per year.

The hydrogen and water gas kit also increases the efficiency of your car and also makes your engine run much more smoothly. Some folks say that they could not believe their car was running on installing the kit.

The engine gets so quiet such that you can’t believe its running. Another important benefit of fitting the water for gas system is that it reduces almost entirely, the harmful emissions and smoke from your exhaust.

The DIY water and gas hybrid kit also reduces the wear and tear of your car by removing engine vibrations. Vibrations in any engine results in tear and wear of the engine itself and the mainframe.

More importantly the easy to fit water for gas system can be fitted with equipment bought from your local car mart. You will only require an illustrated manual that gives you a step by step instruction on how to setup the system.

Water powered DIY kit is the easiest to mount in your engine. It consists of a small glass container with 2 leads inserted in the lid. These leads are the positive and negative terminals from your car’s ignition which break down water into hydrogen and Oxygen. They are connected directly to the ignition to allow hydrogen to be produced only when in demand.

Baking soda is added as a catalyst to help in faster production of hydroxyl gas. A rubber tube is connected to a hole on the lid and is inserted to fit into the engines air intake vent. The produced H and O gas is drawn by the incoming wind going into the engine.

Hydrogen expand far larger than gas and produces much more energy than gas. You will have more hydrogen burning in your engine at any one time than gas. And this is what saves you money eventually. The mixing of gas with hydrogen and oxygen results to better combustion of gasoline since the two gases is highly flammable.

The effect of this water hydrogen + Oxygen gases results to a more efficient burning of even the little gas that goes into your engine’s combustion chamber.

You can fit the water gas system yourself at home by following the step by step instructions manual offered by many websites online.

Renewable Energy and Solar Power

Archived in the category: wind power

Hi-tech ways to capture enough sunlight per day every day to power everything in a home or business hasn’t been discovered yet. The current cost of solar panels can run into thousands of pounds, which would require the panels to produce electricity for years without maintenance in order to see a return on investment. What is needed is more grants available to people to enable them to afford renewable energy in the homes. Otherwise only the relatively well off will be able to afford paying over £2000 for solar panels and then saving money over the next 10-20 years. B & Q and other retailers in the UK have now started to advertise solar and wind turbines on TV, they must becoming more mainstream for them to do this.

Currently, many people use solar panels, which can be placed on a side of a roof to attract sunlight during the day to heat a small number of rooms and water. Solar panels can be purchased at a number of locations throughout the UK, as well as online. To view UK companies involved in renewable sources of energy see the green directory. Panels do a great job of helping families and businesses to conserve energy. Hopefully, solar panels will become a part of daily life, in order to prevent the disappearance of natural resources and to maintain energy conservation. In August 2006 high street chain Currys have said that they will start to sell off the shelf solar panels at a substantial discount to existing suppliers. Also, houses that are being built locally now have wind turbines attached to create energy! At last progress from the house builders are making an effort â?? they can be the real drivers behind this change.

In the recent 2006 Budget announcement by Gorden Brown, millions of pounds have been allocated to helping homes and businesses take advantage of renewable energy and the benefits that it brings. This is a welcoming strategy by the government. More and more homes are also attaching mini-wind turbines to their homes to boost the electricity generated by solar panels, British Gas (Centrica) have recently been looking for volunteers to pilot this with.

Developing countries with sunny climates such as Africa are the perfect place to take advantage of this renewable energy especially in rural areas that are not connected to the national grid for electricity. There needs to be a commitment from the G8 and other government around the world in providing funds to achieve this.

I have just read about the founding of google and the founders are keep to develop solar power and have invested in a number of companies that have solar panels attached to like a mat that you can roll out and stick onto a building instead of the current large, expensive panels that are available at the moment!

What is “the power of regeneration” and how do you get it from all natural foods that are mixed in concentrated health drinks? Regeneration is the opposite of “degeneration”, which is what happens to the human body over time if not treated properly. Most people in the world today are in a constant state of degeneration, but those who have discovered the secret of concentrated nutrition are revealing the potential for regeneration with all natural foods formulated into concentrated health drinks.

The Philosophy of RegenerationÂ? is a phrase that has actually been trademarked by Sunrider International, the largest herbal health food company in the world. Dr. Tei-Fu Chen developed the Philosophy of RegenerationÂ? after thorough study of Chinese and Western medicines. According to the philosophy, the body can balance itself when nourished and cleansed with the proper nutrition. That is why all natural foods concentrated into powerful health drink formulas can help the body keep a balance between yin (nourish) and yang (cleanse) and the five organ systems.

This sounds complex, but the simplicity of it is that when all your systems are in balance, your body is functioning so efficiently that it has time to “regenerate”. When you are taking in the proper nutrients through all natural foods that have been concentrated into these powerful health drinks, your body has the resources to create and sustain excellent health and fitness for life. Instead of having to spend so much energy digesting unhealthy foods, your body has the energy to work on areas that might have been damaged through years of poor eating or through injuries and illnesses.

Let’s say you have suffered from chronic pain for years. You decide to change your diet to include all natural foods and concentrated health drinks. Then, instead of your body degenerating without any help from your previous food and drink choices, you begin to feel relief. What’s happening is that damaged, old, dying cells are being replaced more rapidly by healthy, new cells that now are stronger because they are built with more powerfully nutritious tools.

When you are cleansing out fats and toxins on a daily basis with sophisticated health drinks and you are nourishing your body with concentrated all natural foods, then you are creating that balance of the systems, which allows for regeneration to take place.

If you are constantly pouring in acid forming foods, sugary drinks, or isolated nutrients from highly processed food and beverage products, you are causing your body to degenerate. You would have to eat an enormous amount of fruits and vegetables to create the regenerative effects possible from concentrated nutrients. When you consume all natural foods that have been concentrated into powerful formulas and health drinks that provide real whole food vitamins and minerals then you are living the philosophy of regeneration. You are taking your health to a new level.

Before you know it, you are feeling years younger and you start to believe that you really can live a healthy, energetic, disease free life until the day you pass away peacefully in your sleep. This is far different from how most people wind down their golden years. Far too many end up in hospitals and nursing homes unable to care for themselves. The sad part is that it doesn’t have to be this way. The philosophy of regeneration is real. You just have to start shopping differently for nutrition. Look for concentrated all natural foods and health drinks that are made with whole food ingredients, as close to nature as possible.

Unfortunately, it’s not enough to just buy fruits and vegetables from the store, you need to step up to a higher level of nutrient dense foods to really begin to feel the power of regeneration. So, pay attention to all natural foods and health drinks that are concentrated for maximum effectiveness if you want to feel results quickly.

The Power Of A Single Thought.

Archived in the category: wind power

Lately I have been taking some time off from studying books on leadership, finance and the betterment of Humanity, to engage my mind in the relaxation of reading a few fictional novels, and what I have discovered is this. I have noticed that my mind works differently when reading and establishing thoughts on leadership or finance, as it processes things more on the side of task, function, action and goals, which is the left side of the brain. But interestingly, as I come home from a nights lecturing and begin to wind down in my hotel room, I find I’m denying the temptation of the TV to sit down to continue my absorption in this world of fiction and imagination.

John Lennon in his classic well remembered and loved lyric, ‘Imagine…it’s easy if you try’ is a perfect truth, which was being manifested for me as my mind and imagination began to form vivid pictures and mindscapes of literally everything that was being described in the book I was reading. So powerful was this experience that I nicknamed it ‘Mind TV’ because the experience was so real and vivid, and there was seemingly no real difference from television or a movie except that my mind produced the vision with more clarity, reality and in a three dimensional world.

I began to think and imagine what the mind was doing in gathering the information from parts of my memory, to display on the screen of my mind this vivid reality. One scene was in the Arctic region, another in Rome, another on a 18th century whaling vessel, another in a supersonic jet travelling at Mach 3, but it made no difference to my mind as it simply flashed around my memory banks to retrieve the information from whatever source I may have seen it in my life, to display it full reality on the screen of my mind. So real was this that I was watching a DVD movie of one of the books I had read, and there was a scene developing when I suddenly said to my wife, ‘they’ve cut out a scene, they’ve missed out an incredibly important bit’. We went back over it a couple of times when I realised that I had read it in the book, and I was blown away that I could not tell the difference between the scenes of this movie, which I had also seen before, and the scenes that had been vividly created and displayed by the ingenious imagination of my mind.

God has given the power of thought, imagination and focus to us through His creative process, for us to engage thought toward the attainment of riches, the development of things, and to bring aid and resources to the poor and needy. As humans we have been given the ability to think and imagine what the world, or more to the point OUR world could be like, but the tragedy is that most of us don’t give even a few seconds a day to a sustained creative THOUGHT, let alone a disciplined approach, we simply run our lives on AUTO PILOT.

The power of a single thought aided by imagination and focus can produce limitless potential. Transportation - an engine - an automobile - an airplane; there are many examples we could describe, as progressions of thought have been allowed to take shape and manifest into reality. You see the power of thought and imagination has no limits or boundaries to its ability to CONCEIVE, it is only blocked by our ability to BELIEVE.

A bible verse out of the Book of Hebrews, chapter 11 verse 1, says ‘That faith is the substance of THINGS hoped for, the evidence of THINGS yet seen.’ There is a popular expression around that says, ‘THOUGHTS CREATE THINGS’ and I believe that in this verse above is the expression of Gods intended creative purpose for us. That in the concentration of a prominent thought, where focused discipline is used over time, faith will engage the creative substance to produce concrete EVIDENCE that we are on the road to fully attaining the THINGS hoped for, and in time will literally produce into the real world, your THOUGHT, your HOPE, your DREAM.

The creative substance is not intimidated by how big your dream is, or how much money you desire to equip you for your intended dream and purpose. One Million Dollars or One Billion Dollars is no different when speaking to uncreated substance, it all relies on our ability to THINK, IMAGINE and BELIEVE.

Albert Einstein said, ‘Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions’. What attracts you to life? Is it the hope of riches, the plight of the needy and the poor? What THINGS do you think about? IMAGINATION and the POWER of a single THOUGHT can make a world of difference.

IMAGINE all the people living life in PEACE - you may say that I’m a DREAMER, but I’m not the only ONE.

THINK ABOUT IT.

Have you ever been involved in a situation with an angry person when you felt defeated? Either you escalated to their level of aggression or you allowed yourself to get lambasted and felt battered in the end? There are some easy techniques to work with an angry person to take their level of volatility down to a manageable level so you can intellectually process the problem with them.

Attempting to reason with those who use anger to intimidate, control, get attention, avoid responsibility, or pump themselves up will generally further add to the aggression or at the very least, be ineffective. Your first order of business is to de-escalate the level of anger.

Often in our work environment, we are confronted with angry people, co-workers, those we supervise, customers, supervisors and stakeholders. In the majority of the situations, it is to your benefit to reduce the level of anger in the other person.

Before intervening, do a quick assessment to see if you are in the proper frame of mind for an intervention. This generally means can you view this person as someone who is doing the best he or she can to gethis or her needs met at that point in time? Are you of the mind frame that you will not be reduced to his or her level of anger should you intervene? Can you allow that even if you do everything correctly, people may still maintain their anger because it is what works best for them without feeling as if you failed? If the answer to these questions is yes, then proceed.

De-Escalation Techniques

1. Simple Listening: Sometimes all that is needed is to allow the angry person to vent all their anger and frustration to someone who is actually attentive to what they are saying. Do not attempt to say anything. Just listen attentively, nod your head and sometimes give encouragers, such as “Uh huh,” “Go on,” or “Yes. . .” When a person is attempting to get attention with their anger, sometimes all you need to do is to listen until their anger is spent. At that point you may ask a simple question such as, “How can I help you?”

2. Active Listening: Active listening is the process of really attempting to hear, acknowledge and understand what a person is saying. It is a genuine attempt to put yourself in the other person’s situation as best you can. Active listening means you are attending not only to the words the other person is saying but also the underlying emotion, as well as, the accompanying body language.

3. Acknowledgement: Acknowledgement occurs when you can legitimately understand the person’s angry emotion. You could then honestly respond with, “Wow, I can see how something like that could cause some anger!” You might say, “Man, if that happened to me, I might be angry, too.” The tone of your voice is critical in this circumstance. You don’t want to use an excitable tone, as it could further incite the angry behavior–rather use a calming and respectful tone of voice designed to help the other person let go of their angry emotion.

It confirms the legitimacy of the emotion, but not the behavior. You want the angry person to realize that being angry isn’t the problem, the problem is the way he or she is choosing to act out those angry feelings.

4. Apologizing: Apologizing is the fourth of the de-escalation skills. I’m not talking about apologizing for an imaginary wrong. I am talking about sincerely apologizing for anything in the situation that you believe was unjust. It’s simply a statement acknowledging that something occurred that wasn’t right.

I am not asking you to take responsibility for something that wasn’t your fault. For example, if you can’t find anything for which to apologize, you can always say, “I’m so sorry you having such an awful day” or “I’m sorry the situation has you so frustrated.” You can apologize without taking on the blame.

5. Agreeing: Often when people are angry about something, there is at least 2 % truth in what they are saying. When attempting to diffuse someone’s anger, it is important to listen for that 2 % of truth and agree with it. When you agree with the 2% of truth in the angry person’s tirade, you take away the resistance and consequently eliminate the fuel for the fire.

6. Inviting Criticism: Inviting criticism is the final of the de-escalation skills. In this instance you would simply ask the angry person to voice his or her criticism of yourself or the situation more fully. You might say something like, “Go ahead. Tell me everything that has you upset. Don’t hold anything back. I want to hear all you have to say.”

This invitation will sometimes temporarily intensify the angry emotion but if you continue to encourage the person to vent their anger and frustrations, eventually, they will run out of complaints. Just let them vent until their anger is spent. In essence, this is a combination of inviting criticism and simple listening.

You have been presented with six powerful and effective techniques of de-escalation. However, there may be a rare occasion when you are unsuccessful in your attempts to decrease a person’s anger. Your safety should be the primary concern. Don’t get between the angry person and his or her only means of escape and similarly, don’t allow the angry person to block your only means of escape.

Always have a plan or an established way to get help if needed and remember to stay calm. An angry person is generally someone capable of getting out of control. When an out of control person senses they are intimidating and scaring others, it can increase their sense of power and control, resulting in an escalation of the situation. You must stay calm at all times and recognize when it is important to seek assistance.

Is a Wind Turbine Right for You?

Archived in the category: wind power

You may have seen the many different small home wind turbines you are able to purchase in the shops, yet you may be undecided whether one of these small scale wind turbines is for you. Before purchasing a turbine, you should do some research regarding; can your environment make a turbine efficient enough, what alternative energy sources can you harness, and which technology is the best value for money.

Below we shall discuss each of the three points explained above in more detail, outlining the factors relating to each.

Wind turbines only generally work to their full potential in very few areas. To gain an efficient use of a turbine, you should do some in depth research and a site survey into how sustainable your environment is to support a wind turbine. For efficient placement of a wind turbine, you need to look into the average annual wind speed and direction. There are many references available to explain what speed the wind must be for different sized turbines. Wind direction is only a factor which relates to which position your place your turbine in, yet many modern small home turbines are very mobile and you can usually twist them to face the direction you prefer.

It will be well worth your time to browse the market looking for alternative renewable energy sources. This mainly depends on your budget, but solar panels are a very popular choice as either an addition, or a total replacement for a wind turbine. Solar panels generally offer you a greater pound per watt, and are also generally more efficient for home power production.

Deciding which technology is the best value for money, also ties in with the environment factor. You need to do research and decide which of the renewable energy sources is most in abundant in your region, for example if you live on a small island off the coast of northern Scotland, then you would more than likely choose a home wind turbine as you are exposed to strong winds, but if you live in the center of England (where wind speeds are usually quite low), you may opt for a solar panel.

So, as we can see here, many factors will decide on the right natural energy source for you. If you can afford to integrate renewable energy production methods into your home, it is strongly suggested, considering the current situation with global warming, that you make an attempt to install these more environmentally friendly appliances.

Offshore Wind Farms

Archived in the category: wind power

Offshore wind farms are becoming an increasingly popular idea, right across the world. This is down number of factors that all contribute to the argument of constructing wind turbines out at sea.

Until the idea of placing turbines out at sea came along, the placement of wind turbines was usually decided upon by a locations average annual wind speed. The disadvantage of this method of deciding where to construct turbines, rests upon the fact that where there is a high wind speed on land, there could very well be houses or businesses nearby.

Most people agree that wind turbines are a very sustainable and cost effective method of generate renewable energy, yet a large amount of people who think that, wouldn’t take too kindly to a large wind turbine or wind farm been placed within half a mile of their home.

Wind turbines are described to sound like jet engines, and when you get close to one, you can really make out this comparison. This is a huge problem when developers request planning permission, and usually village and/or town meetings will be held, followed by petitions of large numbers against the development.

So, wind turbines placed out at sea currently seem like a very good option, as the wind is quite constant, of a significant energy, and no-one is around to hear the output of noise. The main problem associated with this development method is the dangers and technological skill needed to construct large turbines in the seas.

Many more countries are turning to the idea of building wind turbines out to sea, in a bid to generate more natural energy. This idea is especially welcomed by smaller countries who want to save land space while still allowing power industries to develop.

Offshore wind farms are set to play a very significant part in the future of our society, along with other renewable energy technologies such as solar panels, and especially geothermal energy. If you want to do something good for your environment, why not go small scale, and just implement one of the technologies to give a boost to your home electricity supply.

The Wind Farm Debate

Archived in the category: wind power

Wind power is proportional to the cube of the wind’s speed, so relatively minor increases in speed result in large changes in potential output. Individual turbines vary in size and power output from a few hundred watts to two or three megawatts (as a guide, a typical domestic system would be 2.5 - 6 kilowatts, depending on the location and size of the home).

Uses range from very small turbines supplying energy for battery charging systems (e.g. on boats or in homes), to turbines grouped on wind farms supplying electricity to the grid.

In Saddleworth, near Greater Manchester, an eco-war about wind turbines is waging. United Utilities want to build seven 350 foot wind turbines.

These will generate enough power to supply the average electricity needs of 8,500 homes in the local area. This wind farm is not situated out to sea but in the picturesque hills of the Saddleworth Moors and would be visible for miles around. Government targets state that 10% of the UK’s energy should be supplied by renewable resources by 2010 and developments like the Saddleworth Moor turbines would contribute towards that total. Leading environmentalists from across the country have previously convened in Saddleworth for the first ever National Forum opposing the creation of wind farms on rural beauty spots.

World renowned TV botanist, Professor David Bellamy, joined former Downing Street press secretary, Sir Bernard Ingham and hundreds of activists at the National Wind Farm Group Conference. There were a total of representatives from over 50 environmental groups from across the country attending this event. It aimed to raise awareness about the perceived dangers of wind farms and bring environmental groups closer together in their fight against the government.

The Saddleworth Moors Action Group says the turbines would have a negative impact on a unique landscape. The group also insist their campaign is not prompted by “not in my backyard” sentiments, but through a genuine desire to preserve the character of the local area.

One could argue that the government is not bothered about the environment then they are continually financing the construction of coal fired power stations in the third world and building more airports and more motorways in Britain? As tensions are mounting in Iran and Nigeria leading to increased oil prices, is now not the ideal time to exploit wind power both on land and at sea via grants to companies? With labour slipping up at the local elections in 05/06 and the Conservatives pushing the eco argument, is not in Labours interest to follow the Conservatives lead and not to pay lip service to wind farms as they currently do?

OR

Will the people that have to live near wind farms and see the things every day change their minds and believe that wind farms form a concerted effort to save the environment or just another commercial money making scheme for the companies involved?

Solar power is generated when energy is extracted from the suns rays through the use of photovoltaic cells (commonly referred to as solar cells). These cells convert photos (from the suns rays) into electricity, and this process is known as the “photovoltaic effect.”

Many people are beginning to invest in such technologies to avoid rising electricity prices and to help our environment. If every home could be fitted with solar panels, then the strain on power stations would decrease dramatically, which means we wouldn’t be left as dependable on fossil fuels as we currently are.

There are many alternatives to solar power, so why should we invest our money into solar technologies, rather than lets say, home wind turbines, or a geothermal energy system? To answer this, we shall look at the advantages and disadvantages of the technologies above.

Solar Panels:

Advantages - widely available, relatively easy to install, very significant output, a solar panel will pay for itself in two to three years, lifetime of 20 to 30 years, modern cells can harness power on cloudy days, can bring power to remote locations.

Disadvantages - costly to begin with, older technologies won’t work too well if cloudy.

Wind Turbines:

Advantages - fairly cheap for a home turbine, can be used in harsh conditions.

Disadvantages - totally dependent on the wind, small output, larger turbines can be noisy, wind farms are seen by many as eyesores, larger (more effective) turbines can be very expensive.

Geothermal Energy:

Advantages - can aid in the heating of hot water, save money on running your boiler, can supply effective underfloor heating, heat from the ground can be relied upon.

Disadvantages - have to lay hundreds of meters of piping underground, hard to fix a leak, expensive, longer time to heat water than a boiler.

So there we have the advantages and disadvantages of each. Assuming you do not live by a rapid stream or running river (which rules out hydroelectric power), then as you can see from the above text, solar power is your best option. Solar panels offer many more friendly factors and less disadvantages than other technologies.

A proven method is to have more than one of the above technologies installed around a home (all three would be a dream, but also leave a large hole in your wallet). So if you have the spare cash, are interrested in saving money on future electricity bills, care for the environment, and would like to be less dependent on fossil fuels, why not take a deeper look into the world of renewable energy resources.
